The initial iteration of Reconstructing Worldviews lasted 10 weeks during spring quarter 2019.
The 20-member cohort was selected among ~100 applicants, and included half Stanford students and half young local professionals with a strong background and interest in entrepreneurship.
Our learning goals were:
Shape an unique view of upcoming big trends in the next decade;
Understand major industries that continuously reshape the world;
Identify a few problems that you are super passionate about.
Each week consisted of an in-depth, participant driven discussion on a specific topic (e.g. personal devices, media, social connections, healthcare, education, etc). Participants not only achieved the above learning goals, but also built a strong like-minded community not achievable from networking events.
